Regndanser was born at the break of the drought in 2023, and his name is pronounced Rain Dancer.
If we didn’t retain a grey colt that is closely related to this boy last year, we would be retaining Regndanser as a stallion prospect. He’s a very calm and level-headed, darker than average grey (aa EE) with his mother’s beautiful head, great hip, nice neck and overall very nice structure. He moves very nicely but isn’t a high energy boy, so the fancy movement isn’t seen frequently. He’s med-heavy boned and muscled with very nice balanced structure, the long hip with good width that I love from his maternal grandsire’s side, a lovely neck, chest and shoulder, and nice legs. He would make a good therapy, driving or trail gelding if not used as a stallion, or should be a very easy to manage stallion that is enjoyable to ride and drive. His grey is not a common line, so those wanting to produce quality with rare colors will find it easy to pair him. Regndanser was one of our taller colts at birth and will likely mature around 14.1 hands. $8,500
