Mathis is a grey son of our past red dun stallion, SOS Rurik, and is out of 1dr Koryn, from the tall line in our herd.
Koryn is athletic and Rurik is heavier but also very athletic in his movement, and Mathis inherited a lot of this from both sides.
We bred him to a handful of mares in spring 2024, so we are looking forward to his first offspring in May 2025.

At 2.5 years old, he’s already 14.1 hands tall. His dam is 14.3 hands, and sire is 14.0 1/2 hands

He’s a really personable stallion

He’s a sweet goofball, bringing me a stick to play with. To watch the video associated with this stick play, click here.

I really liked Mathis’ structure and temperament at birth, and he’s been an absolute pleasure ever since!
